Yes, Spotify is currently required to create playable Vibes.
Yes. You can connect Spotify, select an existing playlist, and save it as a Vibe.
Yes, with your permission. WAVSkins can create playlists so your Vibes play properly.
Permissions allow WAVSkins to read playlists, create playlists, and connect playable Spotify music to your Vibes.
Yes. You can disconnect Spotify from your settings.
AI Playlists
Yes. WAVSkins AI can generate playlist ideas based on mood, event, energy, city, genre, and personality.
When you click “Save as Vibe,” WAVSkins creates the Spotify playlist automatically behind the scenes.
WAVSkins shows unmatched tracks and lets you replace them before finalizing the Vibe.
Yes. You can review and adjust playlists before saving them as Vibes.
Vibes
Create or select a playlist, save it as a Vibe, then optionally create a WAVSkin from it.
Yes. You can create multiple Vibes for different moods, events, or moments.
Your Current Vibe is the active music identity shown on your profile and Identity Beacon.
Yes. You can set any saved Vibe as your Current Vibe.
Public Vibes can be viewed when shared or scanned. Privacy controls may be expanded over time.
WAVSkins / Tattoos
Choose a saved Vibe, select a tattoo design, and WAVSkins generates the QR-based skin.
For the MVP, users choose from approved WAVSkins templates. Artist accounts may later upload official campaign artwork.
Yes. WAVSkins are designed as temporary wearable QR tattoos.
Wear time depends on material, placement, skin type, and care. Product-specific guidance appears on the order page.
Yes. You can order singles or packs.
A temporary tattoo is physical and not reusable after application, but saved WAVSkins can be reordered.
QR Codes & Scans
They open your WAVSkins Vibe page, where they can view your vibe and play the connected Spotify playlist.
No. QR codes open a WAVSkins Vibe page first so the experience, analytics, and identity layer remain on WAVSkins.
Yes. WAVSkins tracks scan count, approximate location, device type, timestamp, and engagement data.
Not unless the scanner is logged in and the platform supports that feature. Most scan analytics remain aggregate.
Not silently. Exact location requires browser permission. Approximate location can be estimated through IP-based geolocation.
Identity Beacons
An Identity Beacon is a shareable visual card showing your Current Vibe, WAVSkin, QR code, mood, and music identity.
Yes. Identity Beacons are designed for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and X/Twitter.
In many cases, yes, if the QR remains clear enough.
Artists
Official Artist WAVSkins are verified artist-approved skins tied to albums, tours, songs, festivals, or fan campaigns.
Artist WAVSkins are official, verified, premium, and artist-approved. User WAVSkins are personal music identity creations.
Yes. The Artist Portal supports limited edition campaigns over time.
Yes. But only the artist can create verified Official Artist WAVSkins.
Official Artist WAVSkins may include premium pricing, platform fees, and artist revenue share.
Orders & Shipping
Create a Skin from a Vibe, choose quantity or pack size, then complete checkout.
WAVSkins may use print-on-demand or fulfillment partners during early rollout.
Order tracking is available when fulfillment tracking is provided.
Cancellation availability depends on whether the order has entered production.

Safety & Privacy
WAVSkins only uses Spotify data needed to power your profile, playlists, and Vibes.

Trending WAVSkins are ranked by performance, such as scans and engagement.
